TO PREACH TO THE GENTILES THE UNSEARCHABLE RICHES OF CHRIST
This "Grace" was given to me, says Paul, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.
As I've said before, Paul was a 'Jew'. He was thrilled, he was blessed, he was overwhelmed, he was privileged and he was humbled - that God in His love and wisdom would give to him the "Grace" to preach this message to the Gentiles.
Today, I revel, I bask, I relax, I jump, I shout, I sing, I clap, I dance, I thrill - that he, a Jew, was prepared to 'accept' that grace and preach that message to the Gentiles so that I might experience Christ for myself.
BUT. The challenge falls down through the centuries, through the generations, right down to land on my lap and yours. "Will you also receive the grace?" Will you also go and preach to the Gentiles?
Paul saw it not only as a prayer but also as the Highest Calling. What about you? What about me?
What are we to preach? The unsearchable riches of Christ!
How can you preach that? You can't! But God by His Holy Spirit will do it through you!
How?
As you spend time with Jesus, getting to know Him, getting to know His love, getting to know His Grace, getting to know His beauty, His holiness, His authority, His meekness, His obedience, His victory, His salvation, His righteousness, His resurrection, His ascension, His coming again, His New Heaven - getting to know they are all yours too.
Then you will be able to preach them to Jew and Gentile alike.
