WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS
God deals with sin, He doesn't overlook it!
One of the biggest challenges for us, as we present the Gospel to those we long to receive it, is that we don't "water it down" as bait. The world has "cheapened" sin to such an extent that it has glamorised it. In the process, evil becomes good and good becomes evil. (So does "wicked".)
People who think otherwise, and that is usually left to a few Christians, are seen as archaic, fundamental bigots who are not only "spoil sports" but dangerous, blinkered and to be despised. How do you rate so far?
There is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood.
"I don't care whether I'm forgiven or not" seems to be the cry today. BUT THAT IS A LIE. Why? Because we all need to be forgiven and we all need to feel forgiven. If not, our mind and natural, physical bodies will deteriorate faster than they need to. Mental and physical health are related to spiritual health. We need to both forgive and be forgiven.
We cannot escape the Cross of Jesus Christ. For without the death and shed blood of Jesus Christ there is no forgiveness. Without my acceptance of Jesus' death and shed blood for me there is no forgiveness. Without my acknowledgment that because I have sinned, gone my own way and on my own caused the death of Jesus, repent of my sin and come to the Almighty Holy God and ask for Him to accept the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ in place of my death, there is no forgiveness of my sin!
Not until I do that, will I begin to walk the Christian life and see the Power of the Blood in my life.
Are you forgiven? You can be, right now! Just confess your sin and ask Jesus to forgive you and cleanse you in His precious Blood. Then you will be clean and free!
