DECLARE HIS GLORY AMONG THE NATIONS
What a privilege! Declare His Glory! How long have you got?
Some salespeople get so enthusiastic they could sell you a clapped out vacuum cleaner. Some folk go into raptures over their latest computer programme; others get so worked up by their report of a great cricket, football or soccer game. And the latest car - let me tell you its got ...
Whilst a lot of what they tell you can be true, the gift of exaggeration often creeps in! No matter what you are telling someone else about sooner or later you will run out of things to say because you have exhausted its 'glory'. Not so with God! You can talk of His Glory forever and not exhaust it.
What is much more likely to happen is that you run out of words - for two reasons. Our human vocabulary is too inadequate to describe Him, and/or we don't know Him and His Glory well enough. If you were asked to write an essay on His Glory how long would it be? Or could you write a book, or a library?
Think of God for a minute and His Glory. Try using these different headings and let your spirit thrill and expand the themes. God is Light. God is Spirit. God is Love. God is Omnipotent. God is Omniscient. God is Omnipresent. God is Holy. God is Pure. God is Good. God is Merciful. God is Just. God is the Lord of Hosts. God is the Sovereign Lord. God is My Rock. God is my Salvation. God is my Righteousness. God is my Healer. God is my Banner.
How did you get on? Remember the nations are waiting for you to declare His Glory among them. You are the one with the privilege and responsibility to do so to your nation and those to other nations to which He is calling you to go.
Let's declare His Glory - at least we won't get tongue-tied neither will we be able to exhaust the subject!
