IN THE BEGINNING GOD!
That is where everything begins! Creation, Life, Salvation, Mission, Eternity, and Love ... They all begin with God. So does the day! The birds of creation sing at the dawn of each new day.
What about you? What about this day? What about this year?
You have a choice this year. How will you begin it? With God or without Him?
Stop for a few seconds right now and say 10 times - In the beginning God ... In the beginning God ...
Let that message be cut into every fabric of your life from this point on. Make it the foundation on which you build the year. Carve it on the palms of your hands and write it on the title page of your mind each day. In the beginning ... God.
Father, as I start this New Year - let me not do it alone - let me not do it on my own but rather to reach out in total humble dependence on You. Amen.
