GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD... HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER
As we come to the last month of the year, can you look back and say that?
We've come a long way in our pilgrimage together and my hope and prayer is that at the end of this year, Jesus means a whole lot more to you now, than He did at the beginning.
We started off looking at His Lordship. That we need to be 'Sold Out' totally to Him and I hope that by now, you can agree with me that it is worth it!
We saw in February that we have been blessed to be a blessing - it is not for us to hold onto but to give away. In March, we remembered Jesus' death, in April His resurrection and in May our Destiny! June challenged and encouraged our faith, whilst July challenged our call. August was check-up month - the time to reflect where we were in God and where we were going. September challenged our perseverance and October reminded us that everything is granted to us through His grace and His grace alone. Last month we saw that it has always been the Plan of God for us to have an intimate relationship with Him.
As we close the year, it will be good for us to reflect upon His faithfulness. The total confidence in and dependence upon His Promises. For He is a faithful God and His promises are sure and certain - Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I pray, too, that in response, our love for Him, our devotion, our praise, our worship and our service will overflow from our hearts in gratitude and thankfulness. Not only for what He has done, but also for who He is. Whatever our circumstances, whether or not He 'comes to the party,' God is good!
God is love. God is faithful. God is pure. God is Holy. God cannot fail! His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord.
