I've said it before and I'll keep saying it - if you want to enjoy the biblical Heaven you can only get there the Biblical way. The way God has proscribed. If you want to experience the righteousness from God, it comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, but it does come to all those that believe it!
I have started off this way today, because I want to look at it from that angle first. You can try ALL THE WAYS YOU LIKE to become righteous and feel good, before the Holy Omnipotent Yahweh, but none other is adequate. People are literally throwing millions of dollars away trying to gain acceptance before a Holy God and failing. They may not see it quite that way but that is the true reality.
Gurus in any religion are con artists. I'm sorry but that is the truth. Think about it - they don't know whether they have reached their "goal" yet and still they advise others to go the same unproven track! Jesus calls people like that "Blind guides."
The ONLY acceptable righteousness, as far as the Creator of the Universe, who holds your every breathe of life in His hands, is concerned, is the righteousness which comes through FAITH in His one and only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, the virgin's son.
But listen, it is for all who believe - not just a chosen few - not only those who are rich, (even in faith); not only for those who are "spiritual"; not even only for those who are members of the clergy - ministers, bishops, priests or pastors - call them what you will.
NO, TO ALL who believe in the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Why? Because only Jesus was good enough to pay the price of sin. He only, could unlock the gate of Heaven and let us in. You aren't and I'm certainly not.
BUT JESUS IS! Therefore the righteousness, which God accepts "comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe."
SIMPLE AND YET AS PROFOUND AS IT IS. Thank you, Jesus!
