I HAVE LOVED YOU WITH AN EVERLASTING LOVE
Hello! God is saying that to you right now!
I love YOU with an everlasting love. We call it, from the Greek, Agape love. Not Philio love - brotherly affection or friendship. Nor Eros - sexual love.
Agape. Unconditional love. Love that survives failure; love that transcends disagreement and disappointment; love that is not fickle, nor dependent upon circumstance or responsiveness. Love that gives and gives and gives and goes on giving.
Undying love in the sense that it will never change in strength, in degree or time.
Dying love in the sense that it will overcome the greatest tragedy, insults, lengths, depths, and depravation and die for us in order to express itself to its fullest extent.
Love that is so powerful no matter what is thrown at it; no matter what it is forced to absorb; it is still there in an overwhelming abundance - wider than the oceans, deeper than the sea, higher than the tallest mountains and stronger than hell itself - indeed, it even absorbed the Wrath of God for you and for me.
This is His everlasting, unconditional, love for you. God IS love. That's what or who He is. - God is LOVE. Love cannot fully express itself outside of God. Where there is genuine love - there is God. It is a little glimpse of Him. Every time you experience a little bit of genuine love - you experience a little bit of God.
Hello! This is the love God has for YOU! Whoever you are, you are precious and special. No matter how you feel, no matter what your circumstances are - God loves you with an everlasting love! Yes, He is here offering you that love today. Will you reach out and receive it? Close your eyes and breathe in deeply 7 times and receive His love, joy and peace right now. There is nothing more important for you today, whatever your schedule or diary may say!
