Jeremiah 1:5
BEFORE YOU WERE BORN I SET YOU APART
O.K. I accept that it was Jeremiah who said that.
He recognised God's hand on his life from the beginning, but listen - all the promises of God are Amen in Christ Jesus Our Lord. God is saying to you today - "Before I formed YOU in your mother's womb I knew YOU; before you were born I set YOU apart...." Isn't that terrific news?
No matter the circumstances of your conception - whether through love within a secure marriage; through a strained marriage which hoped "you" would "patch it up"; through a relationship outside of marriage, whether a one-night stand; through youthful exuberance or ignorance; or even through incest or rape - the "Good News" is this - God formed You in the womb. You are NOT an accident. And furthermore, He set you apart.
Men and women may "do what they like" but God forms babies. From their actions, yes, but listen, God formed YOU in the womb. Not only did He form you, He also knew you. He made you the way you look; He knew how many hairs you have on your head and their colour and He knew what sort of character you have and would develop.
What's more, before you were born He set you apart. Listen to this, my friend. God has set YOU apart for a purpose. He has a unique plan for your life, which only you can fulfil. No one else can do it - only you can. If you choose to go another way - and the choice is yours - don't blame God.
He set you apart - your "job" is to walk in that anointing. Stop for a moment. Are you walking today in the plan God had when He set you apart? Oh, please, do be honest. Don't pretend, because to go for second best is sin. He wants His best for your life. A life of purpose and fulfilment. A life with which none other can compare. No matter what your past was like, listen, today, you can get back on the track for which He set you apart.
He longs for you to move in His best! Get back on the track - He has the power to help you get there and stay there.
