THEY ARE BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD AND SERVE HIM...HE SPREADS HIS TENT OVER THEM
What a phenomenal contrast!
V14 says that they are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb - THEREFORE...
Where was God, when I went through the great tribulation - did He care? Why was He silent? Why didn't He DO something?
Where is God when things just don't seem to make sense? When everyone tells us that 'all things work together for good for those who are in Christ Jesus and called according to His purpose' but it's not them going through it right now - its me?
They sensed that He was away...BUT NOW... they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His Temple, and He who sits on the Throne will spread His tent over them!

Before, God came down to 'our' Temple built by Solomon. Now WE are invited into His Temple! Wow! If the Temple of Solomon was the greatest structure ever built by man, how much more significant, how much more glorious will be the Temple of our God built by Him? He could not be contained in Solomon's Temple. Here - we have room to join Him - along with all the myriads around the Throne crying Holy, Holy, Holy. Day and 'night' - continuous - never broken, joy and worship - for all service to the King is worship!
He will spread His tent over them! He came down to us in the Tabernacle - Moses' tent! Now the tent is God's and He spreads it over us! His tent of love, acceptance, protection, security, joy and Eternal fellowship.
Yes, the picture is becoming clearer. God is revealing a little more and a little more until the full picture will be seen and a reality - which will fully disclose the Eternal Heart of God and His desire to be with His people, to bless them in ways 'out of this world,' and to have intimate fellowship forever!
