God's Original, Gracious, Divine Intention, and Purpose! What the point of life is all about!
At long last we will experience exactly what God had always planned. This is the fulfilment of all history and creation. No longer just an impossible dream; an unobtainable utopia; a distant indistinct vision; or at best a "guarantee of what is to come" - this is the Genuine Reality.
Paul talks in Ephesians of the "Arrabon" of God. The "deposit guaranteeing our inheritance" - the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Yes, Eternal Life starts at my conversion but it all points forward, for the "best is yet to come".
God has always wanted to be "with men". First we "saw" it in the Garden; then at the Tabernacle, and Temple; then as the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us; then our bodies became the temple of His Holy Spirit.
But this time, this time it is the full picture and the culmination of all those images - when the True Reality is experienced. Not just for a moment; not just in the cool of the day; not just for forty years; not just for a few hundred years; not just in one place and not just for our earthly span, but everywhere in all its dynamic and majestic fullness for evermore!
Are you ready? Are you excited? Will you be there?
God will and He has made a way for you, too!
He wants you to share in that ultimate perfect intimacy with Himself when the dwelling of God is with men forever!
