Why do we cry?
Because of the injustices we see around us. -
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Children get abused by parents, by thieves, by abductors and by purveyors of prostitution.
The proponents of abortion become more vocal and accepted as the norm. The jails become overcrowded but the victims receive no recompense. Instigators of perversion and wickedness are becoming increasingly arrogant and successful and no one seems to care or be able to do anything about it.
Not only is the Bible not taught in schools any longer but it has become unwelcome or banned. The use of violence in crime has risen in greater percentage than the increase in crime itself. Famines devastate nations. Ethnic relationships flare up into tribal warfare.
Marriages are breaking up all around us. Children now have to distinguish between their parents, their guardians, their birth parents, and their brothers and sisters, and their half-brothers and half-sisters and their "step" relatives. They have no real security, for during the week they are with one and at the weekend they are with the others, and they are told that is "normal"!
There's violence in the home and the "womb" has become the most dangerous place on earth. Good is called bad, or boring and wicked, good and exciting. Just like I saw a bumper sticker the other day - "Good guys go to Heaven, Bad guys go everywhere"!
True Christianity is called dangerous, fanatical fundamentalism.
And then there are all those people determined to go to hell and others who simply haven't heard of the true Jesus. Tell me, are you crying over these things? Because you should be!
We are also expected to play our part in combating them whilst we are on earth.
BUT ONE DAY, ONE DAY THEY SHALL CEASE AND CRYING WILL COME TO AN END!
